Cared for every day.
Around 5,000 goats are cared for across our three family farms, Oakdale, Goldenelm and Kahikalac.
Our herd includes Saanen, Toggenburg, British Alpine and Yorkshire goats, along with crossbreeds. Together, they make up the diverse herd behind our New Zealand goat milk.
Care from morning to night.
From the first milking of the morning to the final checks of the day, life on our farms follows a steady rhythm built around the needs of our goats.
Our goats are milked morning and afternoon, with their well-being guiding the way they are cared for each day.
Nourished by what we grow.
Fresh forage is grown on our farms and cut for our goats, giving us a close connection to what goes into feeding our herd.
We also grow maize silage and use carefully selected supplementary feeds when needed, including canola, DDG, molasses and whole maize, helping us provide balanced nutrition as conditions and nutritional needs change throughout the seasons.
The People Behind Our Farms
Family farming, carried forward.
Our farms are cared for by a dedicated team with family at the heart of the operation. Our founder’s family manages the farms, working alongside the farm teams who handle the day-to-day care of the herd.
Goat farming is hands-on work. It takes patience, observation and an understanding of the animals in your care. Our team gets to know the herd and pays attention to the small signs that can tell them when an animal needs a little extra support.
For us, farming is about more than producing great milk. It’s about caring for our animals and our land while continuing a family farming tradition that began in New Zealand more than a century ago.
