Our goat milk comes from our family’s farms in New Zealand, where generations of farming experience shape how we care for our goats and produce our milk.
Space & shelter
Our goats spend most of their time in spacious, open-air barns, with room to move freely and choose where they’re most comfortable.
Fresh, farm-grown feed
Their diet includes freshly cut ryegrass, plantain, clover, chicory and lucerne grown on our farms, along with farm-grown hay and silage during winter. Supplementary feed is provided when needed.
Independently tested for quality
New Zealand's dairy industry is monitored through the National Chemical Contaminants Programme (NCCP), operated by the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI).
- The NCCP regularly monitors raw milk for a wide range of chemical contaminants, providing assurance that New Zealand dairy products remain well below levels that could pose a risk to human health or international trade.
- Testing has consistently shown that New Zealand raw milk is very low in naturally occurring heavy metals.
- In addition to this national monitoring programme, Good Goat Milk Company products are periodically tested by independent IANZ-accredited laboratories for heavy metals and other elements of interest.
